A cornerstone of Karingani’s commitment to community development is education. Each year, selected candidates from neighbouring communities are given the opportunity to attend the South African College for Tourism (SACT) in Graaff-Reinet, South Africa. Female students participate in the Hospitality Programme, while male students attend the renowned Tracker Academy.
We are particularly proud that members of the Xinghana team have been selected to participate in this prestigious one-year training programme. These opportunities provide young Mozambicans with professional skills, personal growth, and a deeper understanding of the conservation and tourism industries. Through continued investment in people, education, and conservation, Karingani Game Reserve remains committed to creating opportunities that extend far beyond the boundaries of the reserve itself.
